Harrison Assessments

> Concept

Harrison Assessments is an assessment instrument conceived by Dan Harrison, based on a scientific research that lasted 30 years. The method was meant to combine the precision of the mathematical and statistical instruments with the fine and profound psychological knowledge. It is based on the relationship between our preferences/the activities we enjoy and our performance. The novelty element of this instrument is the fact that it quantifies the extent to which certain job requirements are actually present for a certain person, the level of their development. This allows us to assess a person against his specific role in the organization.
The actual Harrison Assessment instrument administrating, consists in completing a questionnaire online or in printed form. Filling in the questionnaire takes around 20 – 30 minutes and has an index that specifies the candidate’s consistency in answering the questions. The candidate scoring and the reports are generated online, almost instantly. The Harrison Assessments system can design a job description – a template containing the description of the key competences the candidates have to possess in order to successfully accomplish their requirements, allowing the assessment of the candidates in close connection to the prospective position.
The advantages of this system rely in the easy and efficient way of administrating it and of generating reports.
